ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted July 16, 2005 Nice Amish capture. Especially since they usually block having their photo taken. Link to comment
WJT 627 Posted July 16, 2005 Contrary to what Ken suggested, I think the levels/contrast are pretty good. I just calibrated my monitor at gamma=2.2, 6500K. I agree that it is a good rendering of this subject. Regards. Link to comment

alaska wolf 0 Posted July 17, 2005 Very well done, Sondra. I love the sharpness of this picture. The cropping is very tight and depending on what there is beyond the bounderies of this shot, I might have tried leaving a little more in front of the horse and possibly more of the landscape at the top of the picture. But, aside from those nit-pics this is a great picture. Regards, Wolf. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted July 18, 2005 Nice rich colours and good detail. The lifestyle looks a good bit more environmentally friendly than the usual! Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted July 20, 2005 Sondra, I must agree with Wolf's assessement including the part about the nit picks being minor. A tad more room all around would have been a benefit. However, you lucked out with a gorgeous & appropriate background, a beautiful light source and both faces lit with it. The driver's face is the icing on the cake, however, being turned perfectly toward the light source. The photo gods smiled on you & you were ready! Good decision not to show any sky area as it would have been more distraction than help. Good enough for publication in any magazine or other publication in my opinion. Gives me all the excuse I need to go browsing through your other offerings in your portfolio. Best, LM. Link to comment
