ESTUPENDO FONDO PARA EL COLOR DE LAS AMAPOLAS

Superb composition, the blurred background makes a very good diagonal in the shot. Colors on the whole work well together. A very nice summer shot : 6/6

A classy image indeed! I too love the diagonal formed by the flowers and the background. You have a good eye for composition. The reds, greens and the lighter coloured background also work very well, all complimenting each other. My overall impression...wonderful!

Bente, this is gorgeous. The background is perfect, and the colors of the flowers and greenery is bold and stunning.

This one works so well because of the beautiful maize color in the background...that and the diagonal composition. Just lovely!

Hi Lou Ann ... Thank you so much .. yes, I know it's some kind of a funny accident but I think I put this up a pair of weeks before you visited me. As an explanation if others are reading this: When Lou Ann visited me she actually brought me a gift, which she had bought on her Europe trip in Cotswolds - a beautiful cream-and-sugar-set decorated with lovely poppies...and yes, I'm very fond of poppies.

 

It was a great pleasure and fun to have you here Lou Ann. To mention to others it wasn't much we were talking about PN or other PNetters ... but sure our love to photography shined through. Imagine that on one of our trips we were 4 people ... and every one of us with our own digital Canons ... shooting almost the same things. Was a real 'Canon'trip I think.

What a stunning image! I really like the color combination of the flowers offset by the gold background. . . . I've never had much luck with flowers in the field but this has given me inspiration to give it another try. . .

Oh, Bente - I REALLY want to ... but I need to buy a car before that happens, and I'm thinking that I can't do a new car AND a long road trip all in the same year. We'll see ...
