Comments are appreciated. I would also appreciate it if you rate 3/3 or below to explain why you rated the photo down. Thank you.

This is a self-portrait. This image has been exhibited twice now. Once in my solo exhibition at WSU and again at the WSU undergrad show. It has been well-received. But I'm sure you photo.net people will surely tear it apart since many of the users of this site are biased and unappreciative of more bizarre expressions.

This portrait was titled Porcelain Doll because of the dull, exprssionless face, also, because the stare is eerie and haunting. If I were a doll I suppose this is how I would appear. I'm sure I'd be some sort of reject.

Reminds me of Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran back in the 80's. You definitely captured the porcelain doll aura as you mentioned. IMO more of the top of the hair in the picture would have been nice. The hair is too hot which takes away from the detail of the hair. The stark contrast brings out the shadowing around the outside of the eyes a bit much. The color of the blouse works great in accentuating the eye color. Did it hurt getting pierced there?

I am going to have to disagree with your suggestion on the cropping. I feel that the cropping creates a nice balance. I do not feel that it was necessary to show anymore of the hair... I would rather place emphasis on the face and the dress. I think that anymore hair would have been excessive. Thanks for your opinion though... though I do agree with you on the loss of detail in the hair. It could probably use a little burning in to make it pop out a bit more.
