I'm considering a redecoration of the guest bathroom. What do you think of this tile pattern, is it too bright?

Hmmm, I may have to try a different pattern. I'm not sure that I could stand to use that bathroom. 8-)#

Hiroya, I trided a kaleidoscope rendition first but was unimpressed with it. It was too bland and needed more work. I'll keep thinking about it.

I think I saw a fairy once upon a time, but can't remember where it was. I explored, drugged, meditated etc. And then found them here at last.

1) Adjust Color Balance, Contrast and Saturation.

2) Adjust Hue Mapping to change red poppies to either Purple, Orange or Yellow.

3) Use 3-D Buttonize effect to make the image look like a tile.

3.5) Cut-n-paste all the colorful images into a new larger image, resize it to 511 pixels and post it for a "look-see".

Attached is one image after steps 1, 2 and 3 above. 8-)#

Some how my foot fell asleep when making this. Not realizing my foot was asleep when getting up I then twisted my ankle. That's why I've got the poppy blues.

Oh my gosh, Alix... takes me right back to the '50's! Hope your ankle is not bad, Merni.... that's a lovely blue color. Shawn is the color depth also less? Hiroya, my fairies theme and manipulation of the past comment is related to the story at this link: http://tinyurl.com/cfrbr

great "manipulators", don't you get the impression we are having visions? Hmmm, thinking of the Beatles' song and the circumstances under which it was written.

Renny, what a lovely fairy tale

Shawn, I'd rethink before redecorating the bathroom; you might draw a crowd:-)

Alix, those skirts are too funny.

Marni, blue IS beautiful and I love the poppilets!

Whose are the yellow poppies? Little creatures! they need some sunbathing;-)

Merni, looks like a negative in blue, nice, looking at it will soothe your ankle hopefully..

Alix - that's so GREAT! I want one of those!

Your visions are strong, Paula, very good!

Thank you for letting me know one of your imagination sources. Photo is photo, talk is talk, truth is truth, and fairy is fairy.

I had several options, and I could not pick the one I liked most. So I almost decided to put up several. Then finally I thought - the last one should rule. :L) So here we go!

After one day of reflections, I decided to call this shot "Holland's tulips". %)))

Thank you for contributing this photo. I have missed looking for your always inspirational new works.... maybe this is something of a fallow time? Well, such is valuable too.

R E, nice image - good on its own, and inspirational, too!

Shawn, the purpose of bathroom décor to inspire one to ... ah ... move along quickly?

Renny, magical, indeed, though your spell seems to have some odd side-effects.

Merni, here's hoping your foot's better, now. Nice 'n' icy, that blue!

Alexandra, that is so wonderful! Terrifically creative (and my fave)!

Paula, very hip! "... and she's gone." ;-)

Pitman, watch out for those nasty, pointy teeth!

Vi, yours seems like a Warhol: Pop Art Poppies!

Bravo, all!
