If you can view this image at 200% and if the entire image is sharp from foreground all the way to the back, you have really nailed the sharpness. From what I can see looks like you've executed it really well. The detail, the color and the framing. gj

This is getting like your "Needle" series - each one unique and so well done. Nice lighting here, Wilson.

Very Nicely done! It reminds me of a Maxfield Parrish illustration with your beautiful capture of the golden lighting.

Parrish came to my mind, too.

The boat adds an important third element, forming the leading edge of the triangle...from porch >lighthouse >boat....and all in the same colors. Then without the competition of a sunsetted sky, the elements become stronger, still. This had been an excellent series, Wilson!

Wilson- the light here is so wonderful and soft, it's just beautiful. Plus, the composition is really nice on this one! A neat variation on the rule of thirds!

DAILY PHOTO: Glad you like this.

JOSH: Thanks. Shot NEF with tripod mounted D2X at lowest ISO, 18mm focal length, f14, manual focused on to pillar & base, so hyperfocal should be sufficient. Yes, it's all sharp.
