Regina- Very eye catching. I find experiments fun, educational and horizon expanding. Nice job!

Hi Regina, I just saw another picture, also with B&W, and just one color in it, it gives a special effect, I don't know how to do that, I have to try and experiment myself, experimenting is also fun to do.

As far as lighting, I have a very basic set up of 2 spots and one boom. The brighter spont was on her right. Used a white paper background. I really don't know how to properly set up the lgithing, I just move them to where I think things look good... and start shooting. Not very techincal I guess.

Regina- for not knowing, you are doing well. I just finished a class on studio lighting. It was enlightening (pardon the pun). They say the white seamless background is the hardest to perfect. I try to use the light meter, for several reasons, but if the image turns out really well, then I can reproduce it again. Tweaking or adjusting according to the histogram and image is a digital luxury. Speeds up the learning curve too. But as I was reminded frequently, to reproduce your results, you got to know what your light settings were. And amazingly it never fails, when I am just playing around, is when I get some really interesting results. Of course, I had no idea what settings I used. :0 !
