karen_perry1 0 Posted July 8, 2005 I'd love to know how this was done. Each pane has its own story. The only thing I would like to see is a bit more greenery or no plant at all. Everything else in the photo is so well balanced that the plant looks too sparse - especially on the left side. Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted July 8, 2005 haven't been interested in quilts up to now, but seeing this we should definitely collect votes for such a category...this is fun! Good that there is the green at the bottom. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted July 8, 2005 Karen, the panes in this window were all old glass, therefore each had a different texture. I noticed how they reflected the adjoining house each in a different way...I kept the greenery in it to give it more of a frame of reference. Thank you for your comments! Kyle and Howard...than you for your visit! Andrea...I think we ought to have our own sub-categories, don't you? Link to comment
dens 4 Posted July 8, 2005 Nice pic againa snd well spotted. You obviously like your refelctions, so do I. maybe you help me inprove my shots and I think you may like my CurveII. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted July 8, 2005 Very elegant - like your new biography portrait! The leaves add a nice colour accent and the distortion from the old glass is great. Link to comment
jim.henderson 1 Posted July 9, 2005 Love that Linda. I think the greenery is just right. Shows that this isn't some kind of abstract. Well done. Link to comment
andrewpgrant 0 Posted July 10, 2005 Another great, clever little shot exploring line. I agree that the leaves add a welcome touch of colour. Nicely seen :-) Link to comment
leighperry 0 Posted July 10, 2005 I agree with Andrew. The different panes is a fabulous catch, but the green provides the punctuation marks. I especially like the hint of green in the pane on right, third from bottom. Link to comment
r_e 0 Posted July 11, 2005 Another one. In my opinion you can go on like this. I remember the first pictures of you I saw - there is no change in vitality, intelligence and warmth up to today. REgards Link to comment
amélie 0 Posted July 11, 2005 You are so great at these reflection captures Linda! It really does have a quilt appearance and make a great design for an actual quilt. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted July 11, 2005 RE...that is probably one of the nicest compliments I have ever received....thank you. Amelie...hi! happy to see you! Leigh, Andrew, Jan, Jim, Denis, Colin...thank you all for stopping by! Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted July 12, 2005 How's this possible? I'm baffled and intriqued. Grandma's quilts never looked like this. Then, again, it was Grandma who was a little crazy, not her needlework. --jim Link to comment

wogears 186 Posted July 16, 2005 Love the old, wavy glass and the irregular muntins. I assume there's another, similar window roughly oposite this one? Very well seen in any case. Les Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted July 19, 2005 Oh Linda ... so you turn out to be a real voyeur. It's good because you really have an eye for it. It's really beautiful. >thinking of how this quilt would look on my bed< Link to comment
