Thank you for your comments. Donatas and Colin, I don't understand very well what you mean by "familiar" about this photo. For me this land is not very familiar, rather a bit disorientating, not really hostile but I could not say "familiar". Yet this is true that the path and the little copse over there give something reassuring in the photo. Is that what you want to say ?

At first, sorry for my poor english. I've said "familiar" because in the country I live landscapes is like in this photo. That's because I like it. Nice, clear composition, guiding road to old house. warm feelings because of greens and gentle blues.
