afterthoughts 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Candid street shot. I asked if I could photograph her. This was pose her idea! Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Nice shot Howard. It's also nice to see that you're obviously enjoying some warm sunshine! Warren Link to comment

n i k o 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Hi Howard, she have a GREAT expression, love that shot. Bravo! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted July 4, 2005 I like how her pose mimics the one on the wall behind her. My first gut reaction was that I didn't like it because of her expression, but the more I look at it, the more elements I see and appreciate. I wish her bent elbow had been completely in the shot, but there may be a reason you cropped it as you did. Link to comment
bacsa 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Good moment, good analogy between her pose and the wall painting. Link to comment
chips2 0 Posted July 5, 2005 I like the wall painting combine with her post . It give me a feeling of the Past , Now & the Future . Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Good spontaneous pose. I still don't have the courage to ask strangers to pose. Maybe some day I'll muster the ability to do so. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Ken, Howard continues to be an inspiration to us all. So many strangers and yet they all seem to give it up for Howard's camera. I want to be where Howard is someday soon! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 6, 2005 I agree with Kim, Howard, you have special skills to make strangers to cooperate with you and your camera in a way that no one at PN is capable of doing, and the results are unusual. This woman is an example, what a face and gesture!nice composition as well. Howard, the inflation of low rates on good works is very high nowadays. please don't pay attention . Pnina Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Thank you everyone. I have been working hard on my craft. Yet, am starting to question the value of what I have been doing? Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 6, 2005 Why?that is not logical Howard, but a real artist is not a real one if he thinks he is the best...all the time.....doubts are a painful way to progress. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted July 7, 2005 Howard- she looks like a real cahracter, neat capture. Howard- sometimes I wonder similarly, but then I take a step back & a deep breath, look at the big picture and realize how many people I have helped and how many have helped me. That's what it's all about! Helping one another and refilling our cups. Sounds like you need a fill up! Howard- you have helped me realize a dream. You have offered wonderful critique and offered assistance and advice when asked. You are also a super photog, your images should be bound into a large book. They tell such stories and leave a lot to the viewers imagination. You are wonder! Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted July 7, 2005 Thanks Jayme, I really appreciate that sentiment. Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted July 10, 2005 Hi-Howard! Introspection is good for our own evaluation. You are an artist and can dream. That's a lot man. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted August 24, 2005 This is great ... almost imitating the figure behind her. I like her dark lined skin and the youthful, fun expression!! Link to comment
