paulomarx 0 Posted July 3, 2005 A photo made without manipulation. The technique is flash painting, filters and gel colors. Link to comment

mg 0 Posted July 10, 2005 Perhaps not perfect aesthetically, but those who have tried such technique will know what a wonderful achievement this result is! Also very creative and truly original work. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 8, 2005 I do not have the patience or skill to make such an image. I respect those that do. Very creative. PS I tried to rate it but got the following message. The owner of this photo has rated 1 of your photos with a 7 during the last fourteen days; and you aren't allowed to reciprocate so soon. Link to comment

alexguerra 0 Posted October 6, 2005 Muito boa! Ao primeiro olhar pensei que fosse uma manipulacao em PS, mas depois de ler a sua descricao tem ainda mais valor. Parabens pela paciencia e excelente resultado obtido! Link to comment
lars raun 0 Posted November 2, 2005 I've read about this technique, and it's supposed to be a very tricky form of lighting. I think you pulled it off very nicely. Perhaps I would have prefered a more evenly distributed light on the body, but on the other hand its interesting to see the 'many' lightsources. Link to comment
seven 0 Posted November 2, 2005 What's lacking in aesthetics is more than made up for in concept and execution. Appreciate the cold/warm colour contrast. Nice work. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted November 3, 2005 Getting a more even lighting is A LOT easier than getting what we see here: all it takes is to move the flash gun away from the subject. The result would then be a lot more "perfect", and we wouldn't see the flash gun, etc. But the effect the photographer obtained here would be just completely gone: the subject would be flooded with light. In short, this picture and what you suggest would be two entirely different concepts all together. Regards. Link to comment
