ljk 0 Posted July 3, 2005 Not sure if this qualifies as "architecture"....some pictures you can't catagorize.... Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted July 3, 2005 You are right Linda. I also from time to time find it hard to find the right categorite for some photos. Good eye here ( I think you always have) ... lines, check pattern and then the not so geometrically heartbeat lines to break the strength of the lines. Funny and well executed bu you. Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Very original image....Beautiful your new biopic!!!!!!!! Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted July 4, 2005 it's great! Well seen and perfectly shown! (though this heartbeat cries for a defibrillator) Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted July 4, 2005 Linda, great image, strong and interesting with some serious curtains (?) there. I am a bit puzzled about the sudden stalinist attitude by PN about categories. Probably to ensure we declare all 'nudes' we might have about our persons (or behind curtains). Link to comment
WJT 619 Posted July 5, 2005 Probably closer to the Fine Art category than to Archetecture. I agree with Colin about both this photograph and the rational behind the demise of the Uncategorized group. I think Brian is preparing for a big change here.Oh Linda, did I mention that this is quite grand? Well, it is. Regards. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted July 5, 2005 Linda, this is by far the best photo of wavy, squiggly curves breaking up a rigid horizontal and vertical pattern that I have ever seen. (This is an unsolicited testimonial.) --Lannie Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Really good composition and very visually pleasing. Interesting how good photographers see what others do not. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted July 7, 2005 I want to thank you all for stopping by...when I saw this shot, it was the pattern on the curtains that attracted me, but when I put it up on the screen, the idea of the heartbeat is what hit me. I like when a picture works on more than one level like that, and I'm pleased you do as well... Link to comment
dens 4 Posted July 8, 2005 Yes, I like the straight then wavey lines. This could be a postcard, well spotted and taken. Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted July 9, 2005 This picture goes well with your title, and is also a beautiful piece of art. Link to comment
andrewpgrant 0 Posted July 10, 2005 I really like these window photos of yours... they're very clever. I love the way the window breaks up the nature of the lines here. Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted July 10, 2005 Good eye, Linda, the red window really sets off the image. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted July 15, 2005 For me it works on more than one level as you probably would know, very good those straight lines moving into the heartbeat...And you have the eye Link to comment
