Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted July 3, 2005 The tomb of Asif Khan was built in 1645 A.D. Like all Mughal arichitecture, it once adorned beautiful stone work. Later during the Sikh reign, Ranjit Singh stripped off all the stones for use in the temple of Amritsar. Asif Khan was the brother of the famous Mughal Empress Nur Jahan (who was later burried at Taj Mahal). Link to comment
manoj 0 Posted July 3, 2005 The tree frames this shot nicely and the clear sky has given a very nice background. The person in front gives an idea of the scale of the structure. My only curiosity would be to see this shot at another time of the day which would take out the shadows of the tree. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 3, 2005 Bilal, I think it is a fine shot just as the lighting is - you suffer some shadowing of the tree but you gain that lovely shadow of the tree across the midground. Composition is spot on, an easy image to stare at, I like it! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Nice composition Bilal. I'm sure the rugged tree tells a story too - and has seen the march of time. Link to comment
