dilauro 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Nice! Good use of DOF and exposure. Even though we see this shot a lot, it's still nice to look at. Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted July 2, 2005 This is a good photo of Antelope. I've taken this photo with several different cameras and lenses. You really need a wider angle lens to capture the whole feeling of the tightness of this slot canyon. Very nice. Link to comment
atoscano 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Bellisima la composicion, perfecta de colores y texturas. Saludos cordiales. Link to comment
steven_linford 0 Posted July 3, 2005 an incredible image; well done! it reminds me both of Star Trek alien planets and of electron micrographs! I'd be extremely interested to see what the original image was like in terms of how you chose your crop etc Link to comment
jeffrey moore 0 Posted July 3, 2005 Very nice, Momo. Looks like you nailed everything: composition, exposure, dof. Excellent. A couple of questions: Approximately what time of day did you shoot this? Was it very crowded? Link to comment
YKV 1 Posted July 4, 2005 Although many saw this type of photography before, me included, I can't skip by. This is perfect! Link to comment

jcmellen 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Momo...I can't get enough of your slot canyons...simply awesome shots. Colors, detail, composition is all perfect. Well done!!! 7/7 Link to comment
vuyisich 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Thanks everyone for your nice comments. Here are some answers: Steven: I cropped from the right in order to achieve a square format. That's all. Jeffrey: This was taken around 11 AM. Even though this was Memorial day weekend, the canyon was not crowded at all. Most people head to the upper Canyon. Link to comment
david_smith35 0 Posted February 24, 2010 Very nice image, and the square format works well in Antelope as your crop proves. I am amazed there appears to be no footprints on the canyon floor! Link to comment
