If you don´t know...

That arc is the vestige of the Porta do Mar (Sea Gate) facing the Tejo on the souht side of the Cerca Moura (Moorish Wall).

Thank you - I had no idea.

I am corresponding on PN with somebody else about the remains of the medieval city after the 1755 earthquake, and he sent me a list, but I don't remember that gate.
