markboyer 0 Posted July 1, 2005 Nicely done. I tried something like with far more plebian results. I love the play of colors, shapes, and focus. Link to comment
gopho 0 Posted July 1, 2005 I can tell that some of the focus was altered and a soft glow was planted, but it realy works for this image. I like it a lot. Very vivid and pretty. Nice. Link to comment
WJT 609 Posted July 3, 2005 I like the color and softness of this photograph. The flaking tourqoise paint imparts a strong reverie of lost dreams. The composition is unusual in that, as my eye is compelled to wander upwards, it is repeatedly pulled back down to the clematis bloom. I do not know if that is good or not, but that it what happens to me. I would buy this if I saw it for sale. Regards. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted July 6, 2005 Thanks, everyone, for your nice comments. Walter, I think the clematis drawing your attention is a good thing. I showed the photo to my neighbor (where I shot this), who asked for a framed print. Link to comment
ricklundh 0 Posted November 15, 2005 This is super sweet! The soft glow really makes this one stand out from the rest. Link to comment
