You're not kidding the textures are great! So is the lighting/saturation, the near monotone color scheme and alas--the composition! I realize the power of the window's provision of light, but it would be nice if the exterior would not be so washed out. As good as the textures and colors are; what jumps at me is the composition...even to the corner of the wall coming up to the right upper "third" of the right edge of the frame. There is the connection of the rail with the vertical post at the upper right intersection of thirds. The post "moves" downward, seeming to meet with the center of the spiral at the lower left intersection.

 

You have the added benefits of parallel lines, repeated patterns, fanning lines.

 

Then there is the mistique of an old bell tower or some such as would be seen in a spooky mystery.

 

You have very right to be quite pround of this image, IMO.
