Guest Guest Posted June 29, 2005 No. I love it! Very nice, both in lighting and composition. I must say you are suited to this style than the other few you have posted recently. Thats not a criticism per se, just an observation. Keep up the good work. Alexis www.alexisneel.com Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted June 29, 2005 Thanks, Alexis. I always appreciate your comments. Do you mean the 4X5 work that I've posted? I tend to agree, but then if one only sticks to what comes easy, things get boring (unless what's easy pays a lot of money...which this certainly doesn't!) Link to comment
art wadgymar 0 Posted June 29, 2005 The light and pose make it an interesting photo. I like the style keep showing some more. Link to comment
isaac madera 1 Posted June 29, 2005 Sorry, I do not like this photo. Love it?, yes! Excellent use of lighting. Beautiful figure! Two key elements in nude figure form and you nailed them both with perfection! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 29, 2005 Yeah, the open lighting 4x5 is what I'm talking about. Its not that I think its bad mind you, but you have a "better" eye for this type of approach, IMO. I don't think you could get bored shooting these type of subjects (I mean come on...you're working with very beautiful women! and doing a damn fine job in presenting figure studies of them) but if you feel it getting repetitive, try some other "post-production" interpretations. I don't know if you shoot digital or film, but you certainly could do a lot, print wise (if doing it the old way), with these shots. If you were rich, I know I'd like to have my way with them ;) And hopefully you are showing your work to galleries and private collectors, submitting them to compititions, open calls etc. because your work is of the caliber to do so with. If you're not, well shame shame :) Look forward to your next piece, as always. Alexis www.alexisneel.com Link to comment
