Steve McCurry visited this mosque when he was in Singapore last year

and I was intrique. Looked around and came up with a series of

images. Hope you like it. The place is really crammed so used a 14mm

wide-angle to record the images.

Appears to be taken early afternoon(?) I'd have another go to get the morning or sunset shadows. Glorious colors and detail.

Yes Gul, around 12pm. Not the best of times but just stopped by before lunch around Little India.

this is a beautiful building and the colours are great, but it's sad it was impossible to get the entire construction in the pic.

I like this whole series. somehow it seems to have bit of a surreal feel to it. and personally i prefer the absence of any people in this picture, it sort of adds to the serenity and mystic feel to it. though the heavy shade could be cropped off a bit. googd angle.

One of your older shots Alec but it truly is a magnificent building. A very ornate place of worship and I find it most intriguing.  Sincerely, Gail
