wilsontsoi 0 Posted June 26, 2005 Subtle, smooth, and wise plane of focus. I can almost feel the texture on its wings. Nicely done, Ken. ^_^ Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted June 28, 2005 Almost perfect DOF, Ken - not easy to do with butterflys! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted June 28, 2005 Lovely bokeh Ken. Just a little nit picking - perhaps a bit oversharpen as I see a halo forming around the butterfly but can be easily corrected. ^_^ Link to comment
jvophotography 0 Posted June 29, 2005 The halo is probably due to the Bokeh? I recently submitted a photo of Ethan that I used Gaussian blur on and I got a bit of the halo effect as well. Easy to fix I think yes. Very nice shot overall. Well done. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted June 29, 2005 Beautiful colours & depth.Agre with Wilson that I can almost feel the texture of the butterfly & the leaves. Well done, Ken. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted June 30, 2005 Ken- This is excellent. I was reading your details and you had both an on camera and off camera flash? Did you use super glue to his tiny little feet to get him to stay long enough to take the photo? :) The 1.4 extender did a beautiful job, no detail loss at all. They are so fragle looking. home page1 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Thanks for pointing out the confusion regarding the flash. I've tried to clarify the flash settings in the custom fields. Link to comment
phongkim 0 Posted July 14, 2005 Great shot! The halo around the butterfly shows up very strong on my display. Fix that and you would have a pefect photo. Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted August 21, 2009 Well balanced diagonal composition, good focus and dof with good exposure. Link to comment
