The grasshopper takes away too much attention from the rest of the image..

A wonderful composition with such color. Regarding the grasshopper ... it is a 'little surprise' and really doesn't take away from the dominant composition :-)

I love very much the ears of barley. For the grasshoper, I would'nt say that it takes too much attention, but rather that it makes like an awkward spot in the shot.
