robertbrown 1 Posted June 24, 2005 I liked the nice almost L-shape of the creek. Let me know--thanks. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 24, 2005 "L" is a great letter! Bob, this is really terrific. This composition is unique and very strong. How the heck did you manage the the depth of sharpness and detail? Your choice of shutter speed renders the water beautifully (not too milky but still shows motion). The lime green moss and the hints of red in the rocks and foliage along with the lovely blue green color of the water are simply wonderful. I can hear the sound of the rushing water and feel the cool dampness of the moss covered rocks. I'm not sure I'd have wanted to move once I found myself in this spot. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted June 25, 2005 This is a strange one, but I like it. Is that right-angle at the bottom man-made? Mills, I assume? We have channels for mills in the river that runs through town, here, but not at that sudden an angle. I like the open space at the bottom vs the closing of the cliffs at the top, and the straightness of the river against the curves of the mosses and rocks. The thinness of the trees works well here, too. Link to comment
