jimg 0 Posted June 21, 2005 I think the distant reflected silhouettes work well, but the portion in the bottom left corner does not. I find it distracts my focus from reflections. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 21, 2005 Bob, I agree with Jim. The silhouetted ground doesn't really work for me. I also think the curving line of the shore gives this the appearance of a slight clockwise tilt. I do like the soft colors of the sky reflected in the lake. Do you have any other frames of this scene without the immediate shoreline? Link to comment
jeremy freeland 0 Posted June 21, 2005 I'd agree with Jim as well. This shot packs a lot of atmosphere with the very dark silhouettes and reflections, but the lower l/h land mass doesn't quite make it. I can see why you have it there - the composition needs soemthing to offset what would otherwise simply be the horizontal elements of water, distant shore and sky. I do like the dark reflections. robertbrown 1 Posted June 21, 2005 Jeremy, Laurie, and Jim, thanks for your comments. I was afraid that the bottom left was just too heavy. Link to comment
