I like the idea of the shot, but I think maybe you can use the levels adjuster in Photoshop to remove the blue hue that is overcasted in the photo (ctrl L) that may help it have more real-to-life color. Just a suggestion though!

I just adjusted the photo to remove some of the blue cast... I hope that helps... but I'm not willing to alter the image anymore... I am quite pleased with it now.

I like this a lot. I think carnivals are great places for Holga photography. The colors and composition are excellent here.

I wish I had seen the pic with the blue cast still on it. This photo makes me feel as if I should have a coat on in the cold, while eating ice cream.
