Why did you cut off his leg? 5/6

This photo has lots of room for improvement, why would you leave the leg out and a lot of water on top? keep trying!!

Thanks for the comments. For those of you who asked "why cut off his leg" it was a matter of capturing a moving subject (bird). He had been walking toward me and turned away just as I snapped the shutter. That said, I realize that I need to be much more patient if I expect to take good bird pictures.

Interesting bird. Nature photography is my first love; I do agree about the leg being cut off, but I can understand wanting to post it anyway. I've had some success with more extensive cropping if (when) this happens. That way, it looks like the crop was intentional. :)

Well, since the photo was taken over 5 years ago, I can't defend it.

 

Yes, I should have included the leg, and less of the water above his head.
