Sometimes it makes me think that unfortunately most of the reviewers in photo.net think more with their dick than with their brains when rating the pictures. It's too bad...

I think this is one of the best in the hair series because it is tone wise in perfect harmony and the composition is adequately tight. The hair is spot on. The three orange-red elements form a triangle that leads the eye.

Yep, men are ugly but the photo is still good. Don't worry about the points score. That is just sports and there are so many beginners and flower shootists etc. It takes quite a lot of shooting experience to appreciate how difficult some "basic" shots can be. Most people here have not shot a single shot with strobos.
