A cliche... but a cute one at that!

I think this has a nice feeling of warmth.

 

I love the energy level of your model and diagonal drape of the stripes. It has almost a candy cane effect. And it creates an illusion of motion.

Thanks to all... this is my favorite of the shots of Melissa. She looks very natural to me. It is a bit dark, but that works IMO. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I am new to portraits and have so much to learn.

Talk about wrapping yourself in the flag! Whether Apple Pie or American Pie, it looks nice, Regina.

 

Maybe you will move on to be a pro in portraiture.

Don't you just hate it when you get tangled up in the deckchair like that? :-) Still, she looks happy and the whole shot works well. I like the white background against the skin tones and the flag colours. Very successful shot!

And she thinks she has a fat arm! Maybe she needs a new mirror. I have one that makes me look good no matter what, I call it my "magic mirror" I'm hanging on to it for life!

 

Regina- this is a cute example of a beautiful girl! I like it, as is. Maybe a little contrasty, but it's eye catching this way.
