alecee 0 Posted June 17, 2005 Yes Barbu, it's actually the window light and the front I used a reflector. Quite a rush job but thought of posting it as she look so relaxed. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 18, 2005 Alec, I like the lighting. As mentioned above, I also like the mood and her relaxed state. As per the background, I would crop just a bit to the right. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted June 19, 2005 Amar, Barbu, Sircar thanks for taking the time to discuss on this image. Yes the crop taking away the distracting light on the right looks good. Amar you should try some normal portraits too apart from the classical dance routine. I'm sure you'll show us some lovely skin tones. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 19, 2005 Thanks Alec. When I do "normal" portraits, I usually tend to go for black and white as is my preference. I think the the routine Indian Classical Dance images lend themselves more to the colour side given the dance outfits etc...Thanks :-) Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted June 25, 2005 Hi, Alec, I never tire of your portraits,; you've got quite a series and very nice. Here, the pose and the expression of the face make it. Of two minds about the harsh light on the back: it does create an effecctive contrast with the face. Maybe just a tiny crop, but really tiny. Link to comment
