This was an ad campaign run by Adidas in Manchester, UK, last year. Ihappened to be walking past a shopping mall, and this massive ad hadbeen put up along one of the walls of the mall. I didn't have a blackand white roll on me, so I shot in colour then converted to B&W in PSfrom the 4x6 print.

I like the distorted reflection in the mirrors and find the faceall the more striking since there is no reflection from the panelswhere the face itself is painted.

Any views, suggestions, comments (or complements even! ;) would bemuch appreciated...

I like the geometric shapes in this picture. It feels modern, tough and surreal

I love those wharped representations of th real world :). Well shot. Maybe I would either cut or clone out the Adidas logo as it doesn't do anything to the photograph. Tom

I wonder what this would look like it color, given that the distorted elements are all a rather dull gray dominated by the interesting silhouette. I also wonder if the camera's meter was fooled by the silhouette, which would explain the tone of the reflections.

Well seen.

Hi Carl :) Thanks for your commenting on this one. I've been considering putting up the colouyr one. Initially I'd felt the colour might be distracting, but that was when I just started out, so now I can tweak levels, etc. The print was pretty decent imho, so I'll post the scan in colou...watch this space, and thanks again.

Mark :]
