pjmeade 12 Posted June 16, 2005 A member of the crowd at the Tsunami match. I thought this made an interesting composition, what about you? Constructive comments are very welcome. Link to comment

manuelbayo1 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Very funy, well captured. It seems the player is shouting the patient gentleman. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted June 16, 2005 Manuel, thank you, that was exactly the effect I wanted. Regards. Peter Link to comment
naveedmalik 0 Posted June 16, 2005 great capture pete, thats what i am talking about, this has everything the drama of being there at LORDS the house of cricket, the thrill and passion of a bowler's appeal and the gentle side of the game, in the form of the person in the foreground(ofcourse they call it the gentle men's game), great work again 7/7 Link to comment
oofoto 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Yes, great capture here, something makes me want to see more of the proximal subject legs though - maybe because the knee is so significant in the poster. Nice. Link to comment
wingell 0 Posted June 17, 2005 The juxtaposition between the subject and the poster is wonderful! A great capture. I have no idea from the image about what sport is involved, and it doesn't matter. Everything I need to know is there. Well done. 7/7 Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted June 17, 2005 Nice observation and well captured. Good contrast between the poster and the chap waiting. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted June 18, 2005 This would work quite well in the recent Test ads I've seen, just a little weird. Of course being Scottish, all the game means to me is four days of not bothering to watch Ch4 :-) Actually, I find the framing of this very unusual and interesting... the way the green frames most of the edge except his jacket. Now, Peter, can you tell me what rhymes with Australia? Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted June 18, 2005 After they lost to Bangladesh today (sorry I'm havng to wipe tears of mirth from my eyes), it has to be failure, pronounced fail-ya!!! Link to comment
