Thank you my friend.. While I was in Montreal I was trying to show my friend Frits some of your photos of the Moto GP bikes but there was only one in your portfolio and I didn't have your web site handy. Please add it to your info so others can see some of those great shots.

Those shots look awesome. Thanks for the link. He was in the same section where I had seats for the race. I brought with me a rented 300 f/2.8 IS L and 2x TC for the race but only shot with it Friday and Saturday as it looked like it would rain on race day and it's a pain to lug around the circuit. Most of my shots were taken from my seats one grandstand to the right of where he took these and I did see a number of photographers jousting for position but with rented glass I just didn't want to chance it.

Great shot! It seems the 1/30th was almost unneeded though unless, was it a very slow corner? For 1/30th I would have expected more blur...oh well

This corner is the hairpin of the Canadian circuit. He's entering it at around 50mph so you are right... it's fairly slow. ;)
