israel_thomas 0 Posted June 16, 2005 I have been looking through a lot of images on this site and I'd call this a gem. My fave on the site so far. Tis true that it is praps a little over burned, but in truth I think the image might loose something if it weren't. The composition is great despite being relatively soft and quite broken by the grasses. This is an excellent portrayal of a slow, warm summer. Good stuff Link to comment

The yellow tone and low contrast give it a sense of nostalgia, while the slender limbs and long hair of the model, as well as the rising sun, give it a sense of innocence and youth.
