Life In Color

Shot with my Kyocera 3.2 camera. One of my first shots I really liked.

I cleaned it up a bit for submission. Thoughts and comments welcome.

nice effect. Perhaps you could bump the contrast on the boy just a bit-it looks a little flat as it is.

Thank you very much Christina. Actually, it wasn't all THAT hard in Photoshop. I simple created two layers. Desaturated one and then delted the area that I wanted to remain in color. I just had to make certain that I got a good trace around the bubbles and to make it a little more forgiving I feathered the selected area so that it faded into the B/W area better.

Andrew: I may give the contrasting a shot. For some reason, the printed version looks better. It was also shot on my first camera which was only a little 3.2 mega pixel job.

Wow. deep thoughts there Renny. :-) This guy was SOOO focused on his bubble blowing that he was oblivious to me taking his photo.
