Despite the fact this is a picture of my son, and I might be more attached to it than I should be, I fail to see the horrendousness quantified by a 1/1. I don't play this game for ratings, but if this is truly that horrific, I would appreciate a little feedback. Sheeesh.

. . . and that's a big-time compliment where I come from! Just occurred to me that I hadn't checked your portfolio, so I stumble over and find this little gem. Someone rating this 1/1 is not only visually-impaired (i.e., blind) but . . . well, maybe just had a tough day. Alas, we've all had them (1/1's and tough days!). Chris, this is definitely not a 1/1. I like the composition- he's positioned and lit so he really stands out from the BG, and in fine detail- good use of fill flash to bring up the shadows. And, great expression! Maybe someone just doesn't like kids (and shame on them!) Good luck.
