markonestudios 4 Posted June 9, 2005 The picture in colour seemed to be lacking something when I scanned itfrom a 4x6 print. So I did some manipulation in PS. I think it has alittle more character now. Any thoughts? Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted July 2, 2005 This is a truly special scene, Mark. The tones are great, and the old house framed by the hills looks like a step back in time. It looks even better on "Larger." Link to comment

kenwu 0 Posted July 29, 2005 This is a great picture! I have always found it difficult to extract good B&W photos from a digital camera. Perhaps if the shot had be taken when the fellow is a little closer to the camera (ie., leaving some space betwen him and the edge of the fram) it would have been even better. Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted July 29, 2005 Hey thanks Ken :) Actually, the guy appearing was an accident. I hadn't wanted anyone to be in the frame, but just as i took it, he was in the frame ;) one of those 'welcome mistakes' I guess! Actually I shot on colour negative film and converted it in PS Link to comment

sabina dorneanu 0 Posted March 23, 2006 Beautiful! The angle and the perspective are perfect. I also like the greenish tone of this b&w. That person in the far right margin adds a lot to the picture. Regards, S. Link to comment
