Why thanks, Howard. I'm honored and I really like this one too. Love the diagonal composition and detail. The bold blue strips are very eye catching. I can hear Benny Goodman on this one. My only suggestion would be to clone out the trees over his left shoulder. And that is a really small nit. Well done!

Smart move to angle this shot. Really makes it lively. The color is very pleasing. If you fill in the blue sky, you did a great job (only the transition to his shoulder at right tips it off.) The market umbrella adds depth to the image. ^_^

I like this one, too. I'd do something similar to Ken, but I would also clone out the stripes over his right shoulder and the trees.

Howard- Sorry I missed this one! Must have been a bad day! I also love the angle on the stripes. I think we are all so spoiled by your hi-key images when there's anything in the background, we want it removed! :) But I admit, I also want the little green bush cloned out. The blue sky is such a pretty complimentary color to the stripes and the umbrella, I don't want anything interfering.

Oh, this is timeless! Did you try it in B&W? A little sepia toning would make it look 50 years old! :-) You got a great angle here ... I'm trying to imagine a photographer crouching to get a shot like this ... it makes for a funny image in my mind! :-)
