While I was setting up, I met the owner of this property, a retired vet. He said this house was from the early 1800s and moved across the road. When moved, he said "they did not put it on a very solid foundatation"... I'd say.

this is beautiful! I love the way that despite all of best efforts, nature invaiably takes back what we've left behind.

 

I wonder if the creeper on the house flowers in spring? now that would be the only suggestion I would have for this shot - maybe a reshoot in the future?

Georgia is "littered" with rustics. I have in fact shot this rustic MANY times, but not in Spring. It is something we can look forward to. Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions. It really makes the site most enjoyable. regards. neal
