It is a classic, well done composition. I like how you've managed the lighting - any hints on what, if anything, you did with the flash? There are two funny details (more like discrepancies) in here that I only noticed because really I think Mitch and Paulo have already said all I could say about this image and I was looking long and hard at it, but since I'm commenting early, I'll keep them to myself for now. I do like how you cropped the armchair - seems counter-intuitive, but it works really well. Best, Jeremy.

I cannot add anything more. This is a perfectly well-balanced image, in all respects. In short: I love it !

After reading Jeremy's comment I can't help looking for the discrepancies. What I see is a very well balanced composition. The lighting, which is very well done, must be from a flash as well as from the light at the windows. A most pleasing interior. I'm not as convinced about the cropping of the armchair. I think having it fully included would have given more balance to the scene...

To you Mitch,Paulo,Lionel, Julio, Mari, Claude,Jeremy and David.

Jeremy, special thanks for your comment please explain what are your founds....

David, thanks for reading other comments as well, what Jeremy reffered to does not have a connection to the image processing...I will let him explain. And yes David, an outside flush was used .

Thanks again to all of you.

Harmonious composition, Pnina. I like how after letting the eye rest in the living room, you lead us in depth along the corridor on the left.

Nice setting, Pnina. The long corridor, the sitting area with the vase is a nicely composed with a warm welcome.

Thanks, Pnina. The two "discrepancies" (not sure that's the best word) that I noticed are the plastic smoke alarm on the ceiling of the left hand corridor, and the security camera on the vertical beam just above the cropped armchair. They don't quite match the period of the rest of the scene but ... what can you do? Either way, they're very, very minor distractions in a very well composed image. Best, Jeremy.

Thanks Jeremy for explaining the two modern devices in the old traditional shrine, it looks that technology did not skip those places... Good eye Jeremy to spote them... Pnina

I like the colour contrast between the blues and red/browns. An interesting composition which I doubt I would have seen. Very original! I find the Japanese use of wood very satisfying - the sparing use of fine materials to create a sense of harmony.

This photo reminds me of the days of my childhood I often "explored" inside of this kind of architecture. Running through the rooms, corridor and courtyard, I enjoyed the view which lights and perspectives rapidly changed. This image is very quiet and calm with well-balanced composition, but at the same time, I can feel how your eyes "explored" inside of the shrine. Superb contrast of the room and the corridor.
