flowers/plants/fungus Wild Grapes?

Up until this spring I had not noticed that grapes grow wild in

Maryland, but I have seen tons of vines over the past few months

that lead me to believe they are more common than I once thought. So

why are mine so difficult to keep alive? Anyway, let me know what

you think. Oh, and I see the jpeg barf under the waterdroplet...
