"Two of Hearts"

Here is another shot from the Jones Beach Air Show. Any constructive

criticism would be greatly appreciated. Photo was taken using a 300mm

f/2.8 and a 2xTC II teleconverter which was hand held. Does this

image work? I noticed when I used the teleconverter the images were

noticably softer than without. Is this the converter or my hand

holding the camera to pan?

Norman, I find the 2X converter softer and seems to slow the AF down. That rig must have weighed 15lbs. Thats why I just got the 300f4 IS so I wouldn't have to use the converters and feel like I'd been in the gym all day. The 1.4X is fair but I don't likr the slooo... 2X.Check you later, Bill
