Maria, the central pelican is nice although the white on its back is burnt out. It's a bit of a pity it cannot be cropped due to the branch at right. The partially shown pelicans to the left make the whole scene somewhat messy. Try again, if you can, & concetrate the composition on one animal without disturbing uncroppable surroundings. I have by no means experience in taking bird shots, so I am grateful for any comment.

 

I would have loved to take the photos in the natural environment of the pelicans, the Danube Delta (I've heard it is more advertised in Australia than here ...), but it isn't easy to reach in the optimal time of the year if you stay abroad.

 

The scan is exactly like the photo as I have a 20x30 print of it, I haven't think of cropping, many thanks for the suggestion.
