dk. 0 Posted June 1, 2005 Very Good Picture Gaetan. Even I cannot get a picture of these Guys as there are not very many here where I am, but the one that does show up once every two weeks or so is very shy on top of it. ;o) Take care and have fun with your new lens. :o) DK. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted June 3, 2005 I think you have joined the ranks of those of us hooked on bird photography! Good job, Gaetan. A little more space at the bottom would have been good, but sometimes hard to accomplish. Link to comment

gaetanchevalier 5 Posted June 8, 2005 Yes the Canon 400mm f/5.6 is a new lens that I have now. This is a great lens. It performs better that what I expected. I read a lot of infos on the internet to make this choice. I was looking for the 300mm f/4.0; but I think that I made the good choice with this 400mm prime lens. I have ordered a Tamron 1.4X TC because I will be able to take autofocus picture when the lighting is bright. Thank you for your comment. Link to comment
stupski 0 Posted January 5, 2006 In seeing all these beautiful shots, I can only assume that you live in an aviary. :o) Truly love this one. My favorite bird. Link to comment
gaetanchevalier 5 Posted January 8, 2006 It take a lot of patience to take that kind of photo. Also the cardinals was not present in my region say 10 years ago. Now it is not an unusual sight, they can also be seen in winter. Link to comment
blackdogstudio 1 Posted March 5, 2006 ...The colours, the contrast, the intersecting diagonals, the bokeh. The blue sky really adds lovely contrast to the cardinal. My congratulations. Sincerely, Kelvin. Link to comment
