Can't wait to see more surprises! I did concerts too, in the late 70's. I've got some great ones of Jimmy on that tour too, at least it's the same outfit. They were in Cleveland, and may have been the very first concert I shot, just by squeezing up to the front. Ah...those were the days! I haven't posted any concert pics - been kind of leery. Glad you did.

Fred, who could miss that Strat of Rory's. I did a little research and he bought when he was 9 for 100 lbs. Legend has it that it laid in a ditch for a year before it found its way to the guitar shop. I saw Rory 3 times and each show blew the roof off. I will be posting more.

Stephanie - I was a bit reluctant too. But I feel I have soo much to share that simply can not be duplicated or recreated - like so much we see on PN. If the PN supporters only knew how hard it is to get a camera within 500 yards of a major act, then get an exposure with any type of compostion - the ratings may be higher, but we won't go there. More posts coming - I would really like to know what you think.

Fantastic shot of Rory. I saw him in the early 70s as well. There is a tribute concert in Dublin on Tuesday, June 14th, 2005, marking the 10th anniversary of Rory's passing. Hard to believe he's been gone that long.
