mcgarity 0 Posted May 31, 2005 If this isn't the damnest hairpiece on a duck. It looks like a female Mallard but I have never seen one sporting a doo like that before. Her head has me scratching mine. However or whatever, its a great capture. Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted June 7, 2005 Thanks for the cute comment about her feathers! I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I bet I've taken 20 photos of her and still smile everytime I look at them. deb Link to comment
rajeevthomas 1 Posted June 9, 2005 Debra...this is a very unusual duck!! I never seen her before! Very beautiful capture...almost like she is smiling.Let me ask you, do you use photoshop..?? If you do I can send you neat image which will take away grainy pixels from your shots, looking at this picture this is a bit grainy but very nice shot....6/6 Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted June 9, 2005 Thank you for your comment! I think her feathers somehow got wet and fluffed out. I saw a white duck a few weeks earlier with the same "hair-do". I just recently purchased Microsoft's Digital Image Pro 10. Any comments as to what I might be doing wrong that's giving the photos a grainy look? I'm so new at photography and I'm trying to learn something new everyday. I know I had my camera set for a "sunny" setting as it was very sunny that day. The only filter I had on was a UV filter. Any suggestions would be greatly appriecated! deb Link to comment
