monty_vorster 0 Posted May 31, 2005 I think the red umbrella, because of the well-known strength of that colour in dominating foregrounds, requires us to contravene the usual guidelines about placing focal points (specifically, the division into thirds). Try cropping it a bit, maybe? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 31, 2005 Nice composition, with the arches in the pavement as a part of a big circle and the round shape of the umbrella as a small circle. But what is the thing right to the umbrella, I wish it wasn't there, it does not really fit in. Link to comment
rochelle_ballard 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Very original composition and great contrast of colours. Nothing short of brilliant. Link to comment
gordonace 0 Posted June 11, 2005 the most eye catching object is the Red Umbrella. it is named as Red Umbrella. but it seams to me that you were focusing on the BG. composition is great. lighting is nice since it is so strong. I think the contrast between the BG and FG is a bit too much. from purpo to bright big red is a huge jump, which make me not really feel comfortable. other than that. it is a great photo. j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted July 1, 2005 Is this picture taken with a group of photographers in Singapore many years ago? Link to comment
longtang_lin 0 Posted December 19, 2005 I like this composition and idea a lot.. what if making this floor more variation or show more texture??? That would dramatize teh scene more.. good shot still.. Longtang John Lin Link to comment
