v 0 Posted September 20, 2005 Super shot. The bench makes it powerful, and b/w is perfect here. Link to comment
sigfridlopez 0 Posted October 12, 2005 I guess this is the best shot in this outstanding folder (that makes me want to check it again and again). Here you've captured not only a place -like the folder says- but also a feeling. The lonely bench is an strong and sad point of reference, while the long long long perspective filled with tombs is a powerful chilling depiction of sadness. When knowing where this has been taken, that feeling is even stronger. btw, the b/w here -among your very few b/w shots- is PERFECT, with Capitals. Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted October 14, 2005 Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting! Sigfrid, I'm speechless with such great compliments... Thanks! This photo was taken in a cemetery of Warsaw known by the many famous Poles that are buried there. There was in fact a mystic and very strong feeling in this place. Glad this photo is able to transmit it. Must return there for a longer visit with my camera soon. Link to comment
