j_kluska 0 Posted May 29, 2005 Good. I like the subject, composition and color. The only issue that I have is, on my monitor, I'm having trouble finding what the focus point was; the front of the barn doesn't seem to be.. Still a nice photo. Link to comment
matt_brandon 0 Posted May 29, 2005 more-dramatic lighting would have improved the aesthetics greatly. Link to comment
grillot 0 Posted May 29, 2005 The focus point was inside the opening to the right - hoping dof would create more focus - next time I will pick a more obvious, appropriate focus point. The lighting was too early on a sunny day - thanks. Link to comment
awhoward 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Neal - on the whole I like this image a lot. It's effective because it transports me to that place. A couple suggestions for other ways to take the shot: A polarizing filter might help bring out the blue sky even more. Also, you might try taking the shot with the camera very low to the ground and much closer to the structure. It would then rise up to dominate the image. The sky would also seem much larger. Just a thought... Link to comment
