Bent, it has a beautiful atmospher, the only thing imo is the water in the forground that are a strong point of competition to the other parts of the image. Beautiful " quiet" colors that add to the scene. Pnina

Very nicely composed, great mood and exposure, the frame makes a nice accent without drawing my eye ....

Everytime I see a shot with still water like this - I want to throw a rock in it - the ripples you know - try it sometime ....... (-;

Florian .. thank you for your comment and for taking you time to make another suggestion for the frame. Frames are always on discussion ... and tastes differ.

Pnina ... thanks for your nice comment and I can see what you mean about the little stream ( I want that polarizion philter Nowww)

Brad ... thanks ... I aprreciate your comment very much ... means alot for me comming from you ( the Master of foggy landscapes)

Ken ... every time I see a lady wearing a hat right in front of me I always get a terribly wish to push of her hat ... must be like your feeling when you wish to throw stones in still water .... and of course I understand what your wish will do to the shot here. Thanks for the advice, Ken.

The mood at this place that morning was special ... was about 4.30 in the morning, sound of silence ... only the birds and the sound of the horses snorting ... one of the moments I wish would last for very long. I pass here every morning when going to work. This morning I went out on cycle and stopped at many spots to shoot. To be riding on a cycle has the force that you experience so much more because of the slow speed and there is plenty of time to use the senses..... and it's for free.

Serene, peaceful and beautiful.

I would take this image to show my son another lesson (only if you allow me to...): An essential tool for landscape photographers -together with the tripod and the polarizing filter- is the alarm clock as you, so well, show in this extremely beautifu picture, dear Bente.

Thanks for your comments, BTW

Thank you for taking your time to comment, Alberto. .... and of course you are allowed to use this as another lesson to you son ... smiling .... and I agree that many things are needed beside just the camera ... but the most important is having fun and the pleasure of photographing. Don't get too hard on him with the alarm clock.

Here north up in Denmark we now have what we call "The light Nights" ... sunset at 10 pm and sunrise at 2-3 am and it never gets realy dark these nights ... so you have to be up early if you want to see a sunrise. And the birds are a mystery to me .... how on earth do they know what time it is? They start singing ecxactly 20 minutes before the sun breaks through.

I like the gentle atmosphere you have caught here. The quiet of the morning shown by the mist and the light sparkling on the grass showing that day is coming. (I am more of an evening person myself but I can enjoy this time through your camera :-)).
