watermark_of_merni 14 Posted May 28, 2005 Wow beautiful presentation, much like a film clip. I like this and yes I would love to shake that tree! I love the petals as they shower down into your frame. Beautiful work ! Link to comment
oswegophoto 1 Posted May 28, 2005 I know this is an odd shape, but I wanted to keep this sequence together, and four just seemed too small for a presentation. The young woman shaking the tree, and enjoying the showers of blossoms, can be glimpsed in the top image, on the far side of the bus top, standing on the bench to reach up and shake the tree. In the bottom image (a moment after the first three), she'd discovered she could shake a sign-post that extended up into the tree with similar results. Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted May 31, 2005 thank you so much for sharing, Don, it is heart-warming, sunny, tender, real! Link to comment
doug_stanley 0 Posted June 1, 2005 Don - From the third frame, you can tell she is having fun. When I first glanced the first frame, all I could think of was that the guy must really be cold. A great story. - Doug Link to comment
oswegophoto 1 Posted June 1, 2005 Merni, you ol' heart-breaker, tree-shaker, you.Richard, you & me, dude. Let's never grow up!Andrea, happy to warm your heart; seems only fair, after all.Doug, then it all works; after a bit of study, I saw that I didn't have a single image that told the story, and (with the eye drawn to the hatted fellow) the first pic is, as you said, puzzling. So my "film strip" is successful if it tells you the little story, which makes me feel successful, too. Link to comment
