Combined sequence of 4 images, obviously, not a single image. Otherwise not manipulated.

... looks awfully shakeable, doesn't it?

By, the way, please click "Larger" (really); then you'll get the somewhat larger original upload. Thanks!

Wow beautiful presentation, much like a film clip.

I like this and yes I would love to shake that tree! I love the petals as they shower down into your frame. Beautiful work !

I know this is an odd shape, but I wanted to keep this sequence together, and four just

seemed too small for a presentation. The young woman shaking the tree, and enjoying the

showers of blossoms, can be glimpsed in the top image, on the far side of the bus top,

standing on the bench to reach up and shake the tree. In the bottom image (a moment

after the first three), she'd discovered she could shake a sign-post that extended up into

the tree with similar results.

Don - From the third frame, you can tell she is having fun. When I first glanced the first frame, all I could think of was that the guy must really be cold. A great story. - Doug

Merni, you ol' heart-breaker, tree-shaker, you.

Richard, you & me, dude. Let's never grow up!

Andrea, happy to warm your heart; seems only fair, after all.

Doug, then it all works; after a bit of study, I saw that I didn't have a single image that told the story, and (with the eye drawn to the hatted fellow) the first pic is, as you said, puzzling. So my "film strip" is successful if it tells you the little story, which makes me feel successful, too.

Really envy you took this wonderful cherry blossom photo. I also try to shoot people and cherry but never had a good result like this. Nice presentation of serial events.

Vi, cool; I like comic strips.

Pnina, thanks; I intend to take your advice. :)

Renny, you're too kind; joy requires sharing, or it doesn't work.

Hiroya, I'm glad you liked it. Cherry trees are so beautiful during their so-short blossoming; keep at it.

Tonya & Mathias, thanks; happy you enjoyed the little story.

Hanna, isn't life just full of interest?

Jack, thanks. And I'm impressed that you can correctly identify a rascal from so far away!
