Nicely done !! I like your layering technique. Personally, I would crop off the buiding on the top-right corner. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, About the building I thought about cloning it or not, for the time being i leave it and see what other visitors think as well, I may do it at the end... Pnina

What I find so impressive is the top V portion of the tree, the angle is the same as the rivers direction. The details of color reflecting in the water are so beautiful and accurately exposed. Then the trees textured bark and willowy branches are lovely and this makes an excellent harmony .

I would love to climb this tree and jump in this beautiful river for a swim. - Merni

Hi Pnina, harmonious in title and composition; excellent perspective and colors. I,too, wouldd crop out the building.

I really like the previous comment ... I hadn't noticed the angle of river/tree. I like the depth of perspective that you have here. Nice!

Really enchanting,the waterplay arround the curb,the modest tree,and of coarse,the light on the water. ( Wy I could'nt rate it,i don't know?)

The title is very well chosen. I see harmony in the colors, in the composition as well as in the object represented. Very effective!

Very good diagonal composition, you shoot with an artist`s eye. Funny your announcement of human presence, that was cloned out then ;-). But I discovered another, even more tiny, hint of human presence: in the upper third there have been two branches trimmed, right ? Noticed that only because I didn`t see any traces of human presence...

I like it better without the building - it fits more with the title, imo. This looks like the type of scene you just come across in the middle of nowhere and the building takes away from the pleasant feeling you get from that idea.

Pnina, your composition here works very well with this tree starting in the lower right and spreading its way through the diagonal axis till it fills the upper regions of this frame. The mood you captured is indeed harmonious with your balanced composition...

Pnina, I like the muted color pallette and the contrast between the dead tree branches against the bright, reflective body of water. BTW, the top right & left clone job needs a bit more tweaking, I think (the, "pattern" appearance gives it away.) All in all, very nice mood.

A very nice gentle scene. I too like the muted colors. I agree that the cloning, especially in the upper left, needs just a little more attention (but not much)

thanks for providing the previous version, too, I agree with the above to clone it away and am going to sit next to AKA marvelling. I like this "branches against water" and you did a real good exposure-job.

I agree with David Robinson that the angles set by the tree help make the shot. For this reason, I prefer the cloned version, because the right most branch leads nicely out of the top of the image, but gets interupted in the un-cloned version. Light reflections and the blues in the mid-foreground are also great. I like how the pale blues in the water work with the pale pinks of the glistening tree bark. Best, Jeremy.
