maria 7 Posted May 26, 2005 Hi, I cropped the eye-level part of the street, as it was toocontemporary. Despite contrary oppinions which I read, I connect"sepia tones" with "early 20th century" (when photos were made in thatcolour). The elevator Santa Justa was put in function in 1902. It is characteristic though, beyond Lisbon Avantgarde architecture, forthe city of Lisbon. To the request for critique:do you like the use of sepia is this? I can tell that the colourswere quite variegated and I found them not assorted.does the elevator looked tilted to the left? In fact I rotated it0.5 degrees from vertical to the right, to avoid the optical illusion.Alsoother picture of the elevator I've seen on the internet make it looktilted to the left despite perspective effect tilting lines on theleft to the right ... I don't know why this happens. Any ideas?Thank you for your time and for lookingMaria Link to comment
maria 7 Posted May 26, 2005 Gracias Rafael! [in the meantime I asked my neighbour from Barcelona what your other comment - on the Ohrid lake - means, thanks a lot for that one, too!] Maria Link to comment
